Job Description

With general supervision, the Food & Beverage Administrative Assistant provides office support to managerial staff, to include typing, word processing, record keeping, filing, data entry, dispatching and receptionist duties.
  • Assists in Monitoring and Maintaining inventory levels and controls.
  • Coordinates department training schedules.
  • Effective communication with departments and outside entities.
  • Receives and processes all invoices, proposals & billing – both internal and external.
  • Maintains complete and current MSDS book and Safety Binder for department.
  • Maintains all files as needed for health department, inventory and financial reporting.
  • Assisting in completing and posting weekly schedules.
  • Assists with petty cash, cash drawer audits and daily bank drops.
  • Responds to emails and correspondence to guests, vendors and internal partners.
  • Maintains work areas in neat and organized manner.
  • Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned. 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. 
  • A minimum (1) year of experience in the Culinary field required.
  • No supervisory experience required.
  • This position does not include any supervisory responsibilities. 


  • ServSafe Food Handling Certification or similar.
  • Health Card - must be state/county-specific. 
This position requires the capability to understand and follow both oral and written directions as well as knowledge and usage of correct business English and office practices.  Must be able to communicate effectively with others, analyze and resolve problems, maintain effective working relationships, and interact successfully with internal and external customers.

  • Ability to take initiative and effectively adapt to changes.
  • Recognizes an emergency situation and takes appropriate action.
  • Able to establish and maintain a cooperative working relation.
  • Ability to interpret and create spreadsheets.
  • Able to use sound judgment; work independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Able to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature, with impending deadlines and/or established timeframes.
  • Performs well with frequent interruptions and/or distractions.
  • Must be of legal age to sell alcohol.
  • Advanced math skills.
  • Cash handling skills (the ability to count currency, make and count back change).
