JOB SUMMARY
The In House Marketing Manager is responsible for all internal marketing activities at the designated location(s).  The Manager provides direct management of the Tour Receptionist, Gifting and Concierge as well as other Marketing team members.  The Manager develops, establishes and maintains marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives.  The Manager effectively manages the marketing, advertising and promotional activities within the designated location(s), as directed by the Director of Marketing and company initiatives.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Interviews, hires and trains team members.
  • Plans, assigns and directs work.
  • Conducts performance reviews.
  • Motivates, rewards and provides disciplinary actions according to Diamond Resorts International® policies and procedures.
  • Provides supervision of his/her direct reports.
  • Leads department initiatives to increase productivity.
  • Conducts weekly staff meetings to ensure departmental goals are being met.
  • Trains and motivates staff on scripted presentations and area information.
  • Oversees quality control on all in-house Marketing programs/activities.
  • Provides guidance to Supervisor on weekly goal setting within the department.
  • Maintains total site marketing penetration as set by Diamond Resorts International®.
  • Runs daily reports to include, but not limited to, Daily Arrival Report, Daily In-House Report and Five Year Owner Arrival Report.
  • Compiles reports as directed by the Director of Marketing.
  • Conducts weekly and monthly review of targeted threshold including monthly evaluation of each Concierge.
  • Develops and updates all standard operating procedures for the In House Marketing department.
  • Coordinates with Sales regarding new marketing programs or changes thereof (booking/gifting policies).
  • Oversees work schedules to control overtime.
  • Submits team member payroll in a timely manner.
  • Provides superior customer service in accordance with the Company DRIven to Excellence standards.
  • Consistently practices the Meaning of Yes® and maintains the highest standards of professionalism when interacting with fellow team members, management, owners, members and prospects.
  • Operates office machinery (i.e., computer, copy machine, fax machine).
  • Completes all required Company trainings and compliance courses as assigned.
  • Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field.
EXPERIENCE
  • A minimum three (3) years of supervisory experience in the timeshare or vacation ownership field.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides immediate supervision to direct reports.  Oversee and controls the work performance of others in a close working relationship, often in the same room or close proximity.  A portion of the time may be spent performing individual tasks similar to those performed by direct reports.  May participate in the interview, selection and training processes as assigned.  May be responsible for assigning work to direct reports, reviewing results in accordance to policies and procedures, and providing recommendations to management.
LICENSE & CERTIFICATIONS
  • This position does not require licenses or certifications.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
This position requires the capability to understand and follow both oral and written directions as well as knowledge and usage of correct business English and office practices.  Must be able to communicate effectively with others, analyze and resolve problems, maintain effective working relationships, and interact successfully with internal and external customers.

  • Ability to run and analyze reports for management purposes.
  • Proficient in reading and understanding annual budgets and Atlas statistical reporting.
