Job Description

JOB SUMMARY   
Under general supervision, the Junior Suite Attendant is responsible for cleaning and replacing required supplies while following safety and security policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Retrieve, stock, restock, and store the housekeeping cart according to established security procedures and regulations.
  • Use correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces, empty trash containers, ash trays, and remove any room service trays to the appropriate location.
  • Remove all dirty terry products and replace with clean terry products.  Remove soil, dirt, soap build up, and hair from bathroom mirrors, vanity, sink, toilet, shower and floor.
  • Remove dirty bed linen and replace according to standards, replace closet amenities, dust pictures, mirrors and furniture, clean all lamps and light switches.
  • Replace facial and toilet tissue, and ensure the bathroom amenities are in the correct location and correct amount.
  • Vacuum carpet and clean windows and balcony.
  • Ensure that all printed collateral is in good condition and accounted for.
  • Update the status of rooms cleaned via telephone and assignment sheet.
  • Receive assigned section, keys, supplies and any priority room requests from Senior Suite Attendant.
  • Respond to member, owner, and guest requests and report and issues and complaints.
  • Report any missing articles, damage or mechanical problems to the Senior Suite Attendant and turn in articles left behind.
  • Coordinate with Senior Suite Attendant on work priorities and provide assistance when needed.
  • Turn in keys and used supplies at the end of shift.
  • Completes all required Company trainings and compliance courses as assigned.
  • Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE
  • No prior experience or training required.
  • No supervisory experience required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • This position does not include any supervisory responsibilities.
LICENSE & CERTIFICATIONS
  • Driver’s License (non-commercial) – must be state specific.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
This position requires the capability to understand and follow both oral and written directions as well as knowledge and usage of correct business English and office practices.  Must be able to communicate effectively with others, analyze and resolve problems, maintain effective working relationships, and interact successfully with internal and external customers.
