Job Description

Under general supervision, the Maintenance Technician III performs general facilities tasks and duties.
  • Performs basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical repairs, painting and mechanical repairs.
  • Operates and repairs all resorts systems, tools and associated equipment and performs all tasks with 'Safety' as the number one goal. 
  • Recognizes possible safety hazards and reports them to the Senior Chief of Facilities and/or Facilities Supervisors. 
  • Performs routine, preventive maintenance, repairs and overhauls of all resort systems and associated equipment in areas of assigned work. 
  • Responds to and ensures guest complaints, trouble calls and work orders are completed in a timely and efficient manner. 
  • Responsible for maintaining the monthly inventory of supplies and the Order Request File; including receiving, stocking and the distribution of supplies.  Must be familiar with associated vendors and be able to identify replacement parts, materials and the necessary tools that need to be ordered for repairs and/or replacement.   
  • Responds to Asgard assignments and documents any updates and completion.
  • Utilizes proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) daily.
  • Completes all required Company trainings and compliance courses as assigned.
  • Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned. 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. 
  • A minimum one (1) year of experience in the facilities/maintenance field required.
  • No supervisory experience required.
  • This position does not include any supervisory responsibilities.


  • Driver’s Licenses (non-commercial) - must be state-specific.  
This position requires the capability to understand and follow both oral and written directions as well as knowledge and usage of correct business English and office practices.  Must be able to communicate effectively with others, analyze and resolve problems, maintain effective working relationships, and interact successfully with internal and external customers.
