Job Description


Under supervision, the Portfolio Specialist is responsible for performing all aspects of portfolio and payment processing duties. This position resolves maintenance fee and loan payment matters and facilitates the boarding of contracts and loans.


  • Manages and responds to various department email boxes and provide monthly totals.
  • Performs tasks based on existing reports or creates new reporting for duties.
  • Manages closing exceptions directly with Escrow.
  • Assigns and completes Customer Action Tracking (CAT) requests.
  • Completes loan modifications.
  • Processes loan cancelations.
  • Provides daily, weekly, and monthly totals for various activities to management.
  • Responsible for testing new development initiatives.
  • Processes third-party collection payments and reimbursements.
  • Administers to various club operation programs.
  • Charges and posts payments for maintenance fees and loans.
  • Processes payment refunds, transfers, and adjustments as needed.
  • Assists with cross training fellow team members on departmental processes and procedures.
  • Enrolls and maintains Surepay programs for maintenance fees and loans.
  • Ensures audit compliance and prepares audit samples.
  • Reviews contract documents and loan details and boards loans in Harland.
  • Prepares and manages shipment of documents and files to the custodian.
  • Processes European and US contract conversions.
  • Posts conditional credits for maintenance fees and loans.
  • Responsible to review and set-up a minimum of sixty (60) contracts daily.
  • Completes all required company trainings and compliance courses as assigned.
  • Adheres to company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


  • High School Diploma or equivalent.


  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in the financial services field required.
  • No supervisory experience required.


  • This position does not include any supervisory responsibilities.


  • This position does not require licenses or certifications.


This position requires the capability to understand and follow both oral and written directions as well as knowledge and usage of correct business English and office practices. Must be able to communicate effectively with others, analyze and resolve problems, maintain effective working relationships, and interact successfully with internal and external customers.
