Job Description

The Senior Financial Analyst – Financial Services supports the Company in preparing and analyzing detailed financial results and portfolio performance.
  • Responsible for data mining, analysis, and reporting for portfolio.
  • Responsible for the development and improvement of financial reporting tools for the portfolio.
  • Prepares daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly statistical analysis for delinquency and default related activities, foreclosures, bankruptcies, and cancellations.
  • Assists in the development of key performance indicators and dashboard for portfolio performance.
  • Assists in financial modeling development and controls as it relates to the cash flow and Profit & Loss.
  • Assist in system set up, call center management, research, and goal establishment by compiling, reporting, and analyzing productivity and statistical data.
  • Applies advanced modeling skills accessing databases, manipulating data in excel with ability to learn other advanced big data reporting tools.
  • Applies advanced knowledge of data collection and analysis methods to prepare detailed reporting and analyses.
  • Assesses conditions, processes, and procedures - identifying control points and weaknesses, and associated exposures.
  • Implements best practices, process improvements, and internal controls.
  • Performs ad hoc financial analysis, as needed and without guidance.
  • Liaises with Financial Services colleagues and other departments, as needed.
  • Consistently practices and maintains the highest standards of professionalism when interacting with team members, management, owners, members, and prospects.
  • Completes all required Company trainings and compliance courses as assigned.
  • Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field.
  • A minimum five (5) years of experience in the data analytics or financial analysis field required.
  • No supervisory experience required.

This position requires the capability to understand and follow both oral and written directions as well as knowledge and usage of correct business English and office practices.  Must be able to communicate effectively with others, analyze and resolve problems, maintain effective working relationships, and interact successfully with internal and external customers.
Specific skills and abilities include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data mining systems with the ability to quickly learn new programs.
  • Able to identify trends or exceptions in the data, and provide meaningful analytics.
  • Proven abilities in the vacation ownership and/or timeshare field.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficient in time management; the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to take initiative and effectively adapt to changes.
  • Recognizes an emergency situation and takes appropriate action.
  • Able to establish and maintain a cooperative working relation.
  • Ability to interpret and create spreadsheets.
