Job Description


The Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), supports the FP&A organization in providing analytical support to the Chief Financial Officer and executive leadership team by providing financial insight and transparency that helps to drive financial performance. Key responsibilities of the FP&A organization include budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, management reporting, Board reporting, investor relations support, and the maintenance and administration of financial planning systems.


  • Performs and directs analysis in support of FP&A deliverables such as operating, capital, cash flow, and HOA budgets and forecasts.
  • Enhances, develops, prepares, and maintains internal management reporting.
  • Prepares quarterly financial and statistical reports and presentations in support of quarterly earnings releases and/or calls, Board meetings, and investor meetings.
  • Assists in developing business glossary to ensure consistency of reporting standards and metric definitions.
  • Develops and enhances reporting tools, solutions, and processes to support monthly forecasting and the annual budget process.
  • Supports the long-range planning process.
  • Assists in the development, maintenance, and improvement of Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Financial Managements and/or other planning and reporting tools.
  • Partners with external financial reporting team to ensure consistent GAAP reporting and the accuracy of source reports for external filings.
  • Implements best practices, process improvements, and internal controls.
  • Performs ad hoc financial analysis as needed.
  • Completes all required Company trainings and compliance courses as assigned.
  • Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned. 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field. 
  • A minimum five (5) years of experience in the accounting, finance, or business field required.
  • A minimum three (3) years of supervisory experience in the accounting or finance field required.


Provides immediate supervision to direct reports.  Oversees and controls the work performance of others in a close working relationship, often in the same room or close proximity.  A portion of the time may be spent performing individual tasks similar to those performed by direct reports.  May participate in the interview, selection and training processes, as assigned.  May be responsible for assigning work to direct reports, reviewing results in accordance to policies and procedures, and providing recommendations to management.


  • This position does not require licenses or certifications.

This position requires the capability to understand and follow both oral and written directions as well as knowledge and usage of correct business English and office practices.  Must be able to communicate effectively with others, analyze and resolve problems, maintain effective working relationships, and interact successfully with internal and external customers.
